Really good place to go for different types of foods and shopping. We did the Puerto Rican food and that was amazing. And they have pizza dim some and dessert. Definitely a great place to go check out to get your variety of foods.

What a wonderful place. It’s a very well designed, large, open environment. Tons of food options for eat in, take out, as well as a full grocery store. There are a number of restaurants, including an amazing wine bar. The staff are friendly and the entire space, inside and outside is exceptionally clean.

Each time I come here it continues to have better offerings. The dim sum spot here serves up some insane take home shumai. The pizza place is definitely above the cut. The grocer here serves high end, high quality goods... good ice cream nearby and always pretty easy to find parking.

If opportunity arises, drop into CV Marketplace... especially Oculto restaurant on the second floor... excellent menu with a variety of wines and cocktails and attentive staff. Family friendly place but also good for couples and the lone ranger. Enjoy!

Wonderful treasure in Castro Valley! One stop shop under one big roof - Grocery store which is a smaller version of Whole Foods Market, deli, sushi, oils and spices, Butcher, etc. We always go for Akemi sushi which is so fresh but expensive, worth it though. Haven't tried the other places yet. There is plenty of seating outside and so refreshing especially on a pleasant day!

this is a foodie wonderland, if you want to buy rare items that you cannot find at Safeway or Lucky you need to shop here. my favorite items are black truffles imported from Italy and the chantrel mushrooms. If you love meat, then this is the place for you, the butcher has an extremely wide variety. The cheese monger is so knowledgeable for all your needs. i absolutely love this place and Castro valley has needed something like this for a long time! please stay!!!

Truly amazing renovation of an old department store that I used to play hide and seek in as a child. Very impressed. I just wish the promenade outside had tables. Castro valley would really benefit from opening that outside area up. Really proud of my hometown!

Down in Castro Valley just because, and bumped into old Crabtree Crane the Sage of Bellfuse. He had a lot to tell me about this and that, so we did rock it over lunch, and let me tell you...The sandwiches from the Castro Valley Marketplace were Amazing! 5 stars all day long.
